Where Can I Volunteer?

Volunteer with the Playhouse Program

Help prepare playhouse parts
Assist staff in leading builds for this sponsored team-building activity
Prep parts at our warehouse at 1320 Egbert Avenue, San Francisco
Playhouse builds are typically held at the Habitat Warehouse in the Bayview or at the sponsor’s site
Playhouse prep shifts are 3 hours long while team builds are 5 hours.
No experience necessary. Power tool training available for 18 and over
Must be 16 years old or older

Volunteer with Buy Backs

Help us prepare previously-owned Habitat Greater San Francisco homes for their next homeowner families!

Wednesdays-Saturdays, 4-8 hour shifts
No construction experience necessary!
You must be 16 or older.
Depending on the scope of work, maybe a full or half day volunteer shift.
Exact buy back locations change and are across our three-county region of San Francisco, San Mateo and Marin.

Wednesdays-Saturdays, 4-8 hour shifts
Help us repair a home or ready a site for construction
No construction experience necessary!
You must be 16 or older.
Depending on the scope of work, maybe a full or half day volunteer shift.
