Let’s stay connected

With Laurel Landing we will build a community of eight townhomes on Pierce Road in Belle Haven. This affordable homeownership project is made possible through a shared vision to bring more affordable homeownership to this neighborhood of Menlo Park. Midpen Housing, a local affordable housing organization, sold the land to us so that access to homeownership could be increased in this neighborhood. That access is much needed in Menlo Park where the average home value is approximately $2.7M.
We officially closed on the property in June 2025 and are currently in the entitlement process.
When out community joins together, we can help make homeownership more accessible. As with all of our projects, partnership is the key to our success and taking an idea and making it a reality. The City of Menlo Park is committed to bringing more homeownership to Belle Haven and contributed $3.6 million towards site acquisition. The City Council unanimously approved the dispensation from Menlo Park’s below-market-rate (BMR) housing fund to secure the 0.36-acre parcel and help cover some pre-development costs. Plus, Santa Clara County has allocated $1.5 million from its Stanford Affordable Housing Fund to assist in the development project.
You can read more about the project partnerships in our December 20205 press release.

The City Council’s unanimous vote reflects our shared commitment to making Menlo Park a place where everyone can build a stable future. When city and county leaders partner with organizations like Habitat, we create real pathways to homeownership that strengthen families and communities. Affordable housing isn’t just about shelter—it’s about opportunity, belonging, and the chance to build generational wealth.
