Habitat GSF has a very robust construction pipeline across our three-county service region. We are laying the groundwork that will make hundreds of homes a reality for families in our region.
Our Home Preservation Program has been significantly expanded in scope to serve long-time homeowners in need of major home rehabilitation and critical repairs. Our goal is to complete hundreds of Home Preservation projects across our three counties.
Habitat GSF is actively evaluating more opportunities to add to our pipeline.
With 80 homes, this development on a 13.5 acre lot in Novato will be our largest single development to date, bringing much-needed affordable homes to hundreds of Bay Area residents. The development is designed as a community set among common green spaces and courtyards, and on a transportation-adjacent property. Families will have access to a variety of outdoor communal areas, including space for a community garden and sitting area.
In another partnership with Bolinas Community Land Trust (BCLT), we will bring more, affordable homeownership to the Marin community of Bolinas. These homes will sit in the heart of downtown Bolinas with easy access to local amenities.
The City of Menlo Park has approved $3.6 million dollars in funding in which Habitat will purchase and begin design work on a new project in Menlo Park. We will target 8 new condominiums to be sold to low-income families.
