We have over 80 new homes and dozens of home preservation projects in our pipeline in Marin. Our focus is on homeownership because we know that, uniquely, owning a home offers families the ability to forge a stable and secure future and the chance to leave a legacy for the next generation. We bring together the entire community of volunteers, donors and advocates to build, fund and create affordable homes for those most often left out of homeownership opportunities.

Homeownership in Downtown Bolinas

We are partnering with Bolinas Community Land Trust (BCLT) to build eight new homes for ownership in downtown Bolinas, an area historically lacking in affordable housing.

The project comes at a crucial time when affordable homeownership has become increasingly out of reach for far too many local families. In Bolinas, housing expenses exceed the national average by 155% with the average home price now hovering at $1.66M.

Our Largest 100% Affordable Homeownership Development

We closed escrow on a 13.6-acre parcel of land in Novato in 2024 and we continue to refine plans to successfully build our largest 100% affordable homeownership housing development – and the largest of its kind in the state. With the persistent and exponential rise in construction costs, we are looking closely at design plans to ensure we set the foundation for success and access to homeownership for 100s of neighbors in Novato.
