We are excited to announce we have received a generous $68,000 grant from Lowe's to help repair eight homes in Marin and San Mateo counties. This is part of Lowe’s commitment to deliver 10 million square feet of impact in communities nationwide this year. The initiative includes enabling 20 local Habitat affiliates to complete 200 repair projects across the United States.

On November 17, Habitat for Humanity California, homeowners, state leaders, housing advocates and our CEO, Maureen Sedonaen, came together to call on Governor Newsom to restore $500M for CalHome, the tool we need to build homes and open the door to generational stability for working families across California.

In this expanded position, Wilds will oversee the organization’s finance, operations, and strategic planning functions to advance Habitat’s work creating and preserving affordable homeownership opportunities across Marin, San Francisco and San Mateo counties.
