Habitat Greater San Francisco has bought affordable homeownership to Jefferson Avenue in downtown Redwood City.

Home Dedication

On Saturday September 10, 2022 Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco gathered with our partners, local dignitaries and supporters to welcome the households of 612 Jefferson Avenue to their new homes.

After their 500 hours of sweat equity, these first-time homeowners are ready for move-in!

This complex of 20 townhomes in downtown Redwood City is a great example of how Habitat can take a small parcel of land and, through innovative design, maximize the number of homes being built. The Project density is 174 du/acre!

These homes are nearing completion and close to being ready for 20 new homeowner families to move in.

Construction

While construction is complete, we have documented some of the development’s milestones along the way, so you can see affordable homebuilding in action.

Downtown Development
