We are partnering once again with Bolinas Community Land Trust to bring much-needed affordable homeownership opportunities to downtown Bolinas, an area historically lacking in affordable housing. Together, will build eight affordable homes designed specifically for low-income, first-time homeowner families, providing critical access to homeownership in the heart of West Marin.
We are in the planning stages of our largest 100% affordable homeownership development to date. Located in Novato, this development, sitting on 13-acres, will be surrounded by rolling hills and lovely open space on a transportation-adjacent property.
With Laurel Landing we will build a community of eight townhomes on Pierce Road in Belle Haven. Access to affordable homeownership is much needed in Menlo Park where the average home value is approximately $2.7M.
In conjunction with our Developer Partner, we are planning to build 18 affordable townhomes, as part of a larger development of 432 dwelling units. In Menlo Park the median household income (in 2021 dollars) is approximately $179,913, with the average home price at over $2 million. These proposed Habitat GSF townhomes offer a much needed opportunity for local families to access homeownership in an incredibly high cost of living area.
