Today, we announced the appointment of J. Mark Jenkins, CPA, CGMA as Chief Financial Officer. Jenkins most recently served as Vice President of Finance and will now lead Habitat Greater San Francisco’s finance, compliance and data strategy.

Jen Wilds today officially assumes the role of President and Chief Executive Officer of Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco, leading our work to expand and preserve affordable homeownership across Marin, San Francisco and San Mateo counties.

Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco purchased a three-unit building that will be transformed into affordable homeownership opportunities in San Francisco’s Mission District, in a city where the average home price exceeds $1.4 million.

Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco today announced that Jen Wilds, the organization’s current Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, will become its next Chief Executive Officer and President, effective October 1, 2026.

We are proud to partner with Ladera Community Church to build two affordable homes on church-owned land in Portola Valley, creating rare homeownership opportunities in one of the most expensive housing markets in the country.

We are delighted to welcome Felix AuYeung as Chief Real Estate Officer at Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco. AuYeung will oversee site acquisition, development, construction and home preservation initiatives while stewarding partnerships with public agencies, developers and community stakeholders.

Construction is underway on eight permanently affordable townhomes at 31 Wharf Road in downtown Bolinas. The project will provide much-needed homeownership opportunities for low-income, first-time homebuyer families.

The $9.6 million grant from CalHome will support the development and preservation of affordable homes in San Francisco, Marin and San Mateo counties. The award comes at a critical moment, as CalHome funding was not included in the Governor’s January 2026–27 state budget proposal, placing the future of California’s only state-wide affordable homeownership program at risk.

We are thrilled to announce Laurel Landing, a new project bringing much-needed affordable homeownership opportunities to Belle Haven, a historically underserved neighborhood in Menlo Park. Last month, we hosted a neighborhood meeting to introduce the project to local residents and invite feedback and participation as part of a collaborative effort to strengthen community together.
