A Legacy of a Life of Service

Read below for reflections on the legacy of President Jimmy Carter’s life-long commitment to public service, human rights and racial justice, including his 40 years of active volunteerism with Habitat for Humanity.

On January 11, some of our team members and volunteers celebrated President Jimmy Carter’s incredible contributions and life of service opening doors to brighter futures for thousands of families. He left an indelible mark on ‪Habitat for Humanity‬‘s work and continues to inspire us to strive for a world where access to affordable homeownership is a right, not a privilege.

If you would like to volunteer you can find out more here, of if you would like to make a donation to Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco in honor of President Carter, you can do so below. Thank you for your support.
