Four Ways to Get Ready for Election Day Nov. 8th

Election Day is here! On this page you’ll find some things you can do to get you ready to vote.

On November 8th election day, you will have an opportunity to vote in support of more affordable housing in San Francisco, San Mateo, and Marin counties.

There are some things you can do to better understand the candidates and initiatives to be better prepared to show your support.

1. Do your homework

2. Check your voter status

Know you can vote - and vote often - in support of affordable housing.

You can check your registration at voterstatus.sos.ca.gov to make sure you are ready to vote on this and all local, state, and national elections. That way you show your support of affordable housing every time you vote!

3. Find Your Polling Place

Don't leave it for the last minute to find your proper polling place.

You can find your local polling center at votersedge.org/ca.

4. Vote Early!

California mailed ballots to every registered voter a few weeks before the election.

You can mail your ballot in now. If you live in Marin and San Mateo counties, they will accept ballots at all polling locations starting November 5th. San Francisco accepts ballots now at the Voting Center on the ground floor of City Hall at 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place.
