a message from our CEO
A message from Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco CEO, Maureen Sedonaen.
Our communities are facing unprecedented times. First and foremost, we send our positive thoughts and hearts out to all those affected by the virus and those supporting those people.
At Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco, we are taking measures to ensure we can continue our mission of creating and building homeownership opportunities, while prioritizing the health and safety of our employees and the communities we serve.
In response to the latest guidance from state and local authorities, we are canceling all volunteer activities, home repairs, and sweat equity until we are cleared. We are constantly monitoring the situation and will provide updates here as they become available.
While now is the time to pause many of our group activities, please know we will be ready to restart these efforts with renewed energy when the time is right.
In the meantime, while we will not physically be in the office, please know the whole HGSF team is continuing to work to drive our mission forward and you can get in touch using the contact details on our contact page.
Thank you for your continued support of Habitat Greater San Francisco.
Be careful out there and be well,
CEO, Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco
