ConstructionHabitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco uses the unique Habitat model, in which skilled staff and professional contractors work alongside volunteers and future homeowners, to build safe, decent and affordable homes in the community. Since 1989, Habitat Greater San Francisco has built nearly 150 homes in East Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Redwood City, Daly City, Brisbane, South San Francisco and San Francisco. Currently, 11 homes are under construction at Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco, including seven homes in the Bayview neighborhood of San Francisco, two homes on Parkview Avenue in Daly City, and two homes that are being rehabilitated as part of Habitat's new Neighborhood Revitalization Program.
